Why become a member?

Craigend Resource Centre is a Registered Charity which has provided support, information and a variety of services to individuals and groups in the community since 1995. The centre aims to create a greater sense of community belonging and improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and the community it serves.

Craigend has an open door policy where everyone from all backgrounds and areas are made welcome. If you would like the opportunity to attend our Annual General Meetings and become actively involved in decisions for our future plans, becoming a member would allow you to do this.*

how can you become a member?

To become a member you pay just £1 as a nominal contribution to the centre which goes straight towards the local community.

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16 years old living in the East End of Greenock.

what areas is membership open to?

Throughout the East End of Greenock including:

Weir Street, MacGillvary Avenue, Leitch Street, Ladyburn Street, John Wilson Street, Sinclair Street, Gilmour Street, Grosvenor Lane, Baxter Street, Carwood Street (24-71), Brown Street, Alpine Grove, MacGowan Way, McPhail Street, Cartsdyke Apartments, Telford Gardens, Douglas Rae Road, Quarrier Street, Fairrie Street, Grosvenor Road, Bridgend Road,McLeod Street, McNab Place, Brown Street, Moffat Street, Morris Street, MacGregor Road, Weir Place, Arrol Gardens, Great Harbour Way.

Please note although membership is only open to these areas, anyone can use our facilities.

*The Centre’s Trustees are entitled at their discretion to refuse or admit any person to become a member.
